Bart A. Grenier
Possessing decades of executive experience, Bart A. Grenier serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Boston Company Asset Management, LLC. Before accepting this position, he acted as Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director at Deutsche Asset Management, a division of Deutsche Bank AG. In this role, Bart A. Grenier was also responsible for the bottom line of DB Advisors, the company’s institutional asset management division and played an instrumental role on the company’s Operating Committee. Before joining the Deutsche Asset Management team, Grenier spent nearly 15 years as an asset manager at Fidelity Management & Research Company, reaching the position of Senior Vice President and Voting Shareholder before he left the company in 2005. At Fidelity, Grenier managed several different investment groups including the High Yield and Leveraged Loan Division and the Fixed Income and Money Market Division. Grenier graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. He later matriculated at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he earned a Master of Science in Management and Finance. After a brief tenure in the field of chemical engineering, Bart A. Grenier began his career in finance at National Life Investment Management Company. Bart A. Grenier maintains an active lifestyle through running and playing tennis. He also enjoys spending time in his garden. He belongs to the Great Harbor Yacht Club in Nantucket and the Lyford Cay Club in the Bahamas. Grenier also believes in giving back to the community and provides support to Autism Speaks Inc., Dreamland Theater, and the American Ireland Fund.
