As an assistant project manager with The Walsh Group, Purdue graduate Bashir Audu was responsible for ensuring project controls and accounting measures were in place and adhered to for the $1.1 billion, three-year design and build of the Dallas I-35E highway and bridge project. In addition to monitoring more than 19,000 budget line items and roughly $15 million in subcontractor work each month, Bashir Audu analyzed labor performance trends to ensure a productive and cost-efficient construction environment.

Prior to being hired by The Walsh Group, Bashir Audu served two years as a project controls engineer with IEA Renewable Energy, where he maintained similar financial and scheduling responsibilities for the Osage Wind Farm in Oklahoma and the Green Pastures Wind Farm in Texas. Mr. Audu holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and completed internships with Skanska USA Building and White Construction. He is a member of Dallas CASA and is working toward earning certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a LEED AP.
