Welcome to my world.

I am Basmallah Akomolafe, the founder and CEO of Career Corner NG; a human capital development Ed Tech media firm that provides training and development services to job seeking candidates in preparations for the responsibility of the workplace.

When I discovered the statistics of graduates struggling to secure gainful employment, I adopted the sustainable development goal number 8: "Decent Work and Economic Growth" as Career Corner NG's to quota to its achievement.

Since inception in 2018, Career Corner NG has trained over 6,500 graduates some of whom have secured great jobs.

We have also trained the final year students of the tertiary institutions in lagos state under the umbrella of the LightHouse Foundation Women's Network.

Most importantly, we have helped clients across Africa, Europe, and Middle East with their career advancement.

In Nov 2019, Career Corner NG was part of the top finalists/beneficiaries of the Nigeria Canada Youth Entrepreneurship Competition. This also opened the door of opportunity to participate in the Transnational Venture Acceleration Program organised by Carleton University, Canada and University of Lagos Nigeria.

Before Career Corner NG, I had published my first book internationally on Amazon, served as the Executive Assistant to the HOD of Corporate Communications, Peugeot Automobile Nigeria, Ltd during the mandatory one year paramilitary service to the nation (NYSC).

Way before then, I held the position of business executive with one of the Top 2 Multilevel Marketing companies in Nigeria, then Front Desk Officer at MUWELF; a faith based NGO.

However, it can be said that my career journey began at the 2006 NPC census where I participated as an Enumerator.

CCNG is actively involved in Training and Development, sourcing of staff, CV and cover letter writing, career planning, career coaching, and career consultation.
