Natalie Basson Football~with~Natz
IT Consulting, Everything Football, Writer in Western Cape, South Africa
I am a hippy at heart, born in the wrong decade. Im an empath with an old soul which often runs too deep.
I have a tomboyish nature and identify as genderqueer - a person who does not subscribe to conventional gender distinctions but identifies with a combination of male and female genders.
I am passionate about all things Football, the Barclays Premier League and my heart beats for Liverpool FC. My passion (bordering on obsession...) and knowledge of the beautiful game would be an asset to television, radio and print media and I am determined to add my voice to the South African sport media circuit by any means necessary.
Professionally, I made my footprint in the health as well as the financial services Industries, working within client services, health partner relations, investment consulting and risk administration. I have worked at Discovery, Glacier by Sanlam and Investec over the past 11 years.
Other than my immense love of Football (Soccer), I am a pitbull parent, a proud breed ambassador and against Breed Specific Legislation. I am owned by two gorgeous American Pitbull Terriers, namely; my baby girl and best friend, Phoenix, age 4 and a half & my boy 'Hamer's' Spartan, who recently turned 1 on 21 January 2016. I am also a cat mom/cat slave-feeder to 5 year old littermates, my ginger male, Chilli and his petite, yet oh so feisty, tuxedo sister, Pepper. I love all animals and have chosen to be their voice by fighting animal abuse and educating others on how to care for their pets.
I am part of the LGBTQ community and I am against all bigotry, discrimination and hate which comes in many forms. With me, what you see is what you get and I will always give 100% to what I believe in.
I'm a truth seeker, a game-changer with my joy filled heart always clearly visible on my sleeve. I was born without the concept of a box. Isn't it time you looked outside yours?
