Since I was a little boy I always been intrigued with food. When I was 15 years old I started working in a restaurant as a kitchen porter and in 3 years time I developed myself as an allround employee in the kitchen and service. My passion for food became a passion for hospitality. In 2008 I decided to study hospitality management at the Maastricht Hotel Management School. With the knowledge and experience I gained, I decided to move to London. I started working for Imperial London Hotels, a small hotel chain with 7 hotels as a bar supervisor in one of the 9 bars. Soon the directors of the company saw lots of potential in me and I got promoted as Bar Operations Manager. I was responsible for 60 empolyees working over 9 bars and an annual turnover of 3 million pounds in the first year and 3.5 million pounds in the second year. I always enjoyed my period working for Imperial London Hotels but I have a personality that needs to be challenged. That is the reason why I decided to leave the company for a new adventure.
I am a tallented manager with eye for detail and have proven in the past that I can make a department better. My creativity and drive are my biggest pro's. I also have a hands-on and not a 9-5 mentality.
My con's are that I always strive to perfection and this sometimes generates frustration when I cannot achieve this.
