Growing up I always had an entrepreneurial spirit. I was always trying to start a business, and create some type of product that I could sell. In elementary school I would have lemonade stands with my friends on the corner of the street. Then, I discovered that I could sell more than just lemonade. I started to sew clothes for dolls, and make friendship bracelets to sell at our stands. One day a man decided to stop at our stand and buy a cup of lemonade. After we gave him his lemonade, he payed and gave us twenty dollars instead of the one dollar the cup costs. Then he told us that we needed to keep doing what we were doing because he thought we could be real entrepreneurs one day. I did not know entirely what he meant because I was quite young, but it stuck with me. Now I am a sophomore at the University of Georgia and I have the same passion that I did when I was in the second grade. My biggest goal for the future is to start my own business. I want to create something that brings joy to people and enhances their life. Although it will not be easy, and starting a company is no walk through the park, I am determined to.
