Beth Bare Goad

Beth has spent the last nine years working in Higher Education, specifically in Student Affairs departments such as the student union and activities. She is currently the Associate Director for the newly created department (July 2014) New Student and Family Programs at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. Beth builds campus community and trains student leaders while assisting first year and transfer students with their transition to college.

Beth is also active with the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) on both the regional and international level. She is a member of ACUI's International Education Council (2012-2015) and was part of the 2012 Conference Planning Team. Beth also served on the 2008 ACPA Convention Planning Team.

Beth is happy to call Massachusetts her home, after having lived in several parts of the country thanks to her upbringing as a military brat. She is mom to an active 1 year old, loves to bake and fix up her 90-year old home with her spouse. Beth's Strengths are Restorative, Responsibility, Communication, Activator, and Deliberative.
