B. Blunt

B. Blunt

B. Blunt has an undeniably sultry and powerful voice. The singer/songwriter/producer was first recorded at the tender age of 3 and has been in love with music ever since. Hailing from the DC area, B. Blunt is the truest of an R&B singer with seamless musical creativity. Poised to take his sound worldwide, however, he is not afraid to incorporate the entire spectrum of musical sounds from go-go (the hometown sound) to rock & roll. As a classically trained pianist, B. Blunt has organically written and produced professional music for many local artists. Throughout his tenure, he has worked or performed with some of the nation’s most talented artists, including Bruce Springsteen (Super Bowl 43), soul/funk musician Sy Smith, and DC’s own Black Alley, to name a few. Gracing the stages of DC’s largest venues—The Verizon Center and The Washington Convention Center—B. Blunt has opened for several notable national recording artists, including Jill Scott, Anthony Hamilton, Marsha Ambrosius, Mint Condition, Lalah Hathaway and Raheem Devaughn.

With his consistent release of quality songs and music videos, B. Blunt continues to impress industry professionals while accumulating nearly a million video views and several coveted awards from the domination of BEAT100’s Worldwide Music Video charts. His newest release, a soulful rendition of the timeless classic "My Funny Valentine" was paired with “I Do”, an exceptional song of love and commitment poised to be the #1wedding song of 2015. With growing buzz, B. Blunt is excited to release his new album, “Singer in a Smoky Room”, later this year.

Music by B. Blunt can be purchased and previewed on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, and other online retailers.
