One of Barbados' most exciting new discoveries on the music scene, Nyron has encapsulated his life experiences in the island's Defence Force, his involvement in sports (more specifically soccer), his love of all things musical and his drive for success to be a singer / songwriter who can command any stage, of any magnitude at any time anywhere in the World.
A Best New Artist nominee at the 2013 Barbados Music Awards (a category won by Rihanna in 2006), he has grown by leaps and bounds since his debut in 2010, as a participant in the Turning Music Into Gold Workshop. Coming out of that experience he recorded his debut album, and made his way as far afield as Las Vegas, and New York to promote the single Lemme See Ya Hands. He emerged victorious in the 2012 "Octoberfest" talent showcase in New York city.
Perhaps his greatest achievements to date are reflected in those he has had the privilege of sharing stages with at major events nationally. These include Hollywood A-listers Vivica A. Fox and Morris Chestnut, Grammy winners Cissy Houston, Fantasia Barrino, Regina Belle, UK chart-toppers Cover Drive and multi-platinum Canadian recording star Deborah Cox among others.
He has also been actively involved in the annual Crop Over Festival, having released multiple singles to radio, many of which have been placed in rotation. An avid humanitarian he regularly immerses himself in fund-raising activities primarily for educational causes and poverty alleviation drives.
Having accumulated a diverse discography of ragga-scoa, reggae, pop, dance and R&B singles, Nyron is preparing to package these recordings in what will be his international debut intended for release on iTunes and Amazon.com. He also plans to expand his catalogue as a songwriter and executive producer and has entrusted his works with major organisations including COSCAP and SynchAudio, which represents the 29 year-old father of one globally for the purposes of licensing.
