Robert (Bob) Callahan

I consider myself to be the luckiest man in the world. I found my passion relatively early in life and I still have the same excitement, drive, and intellectual curiosity that I had when I was first inspired.

While obtaining my B.A. in Economics and English Literature from UT, Austin, I was fascinated by two of the main global issues of the day: the NAFTA debate and the Mexican Tequila Crisis (Peso devaluation). Inspired by a number of phenomenal professors at UT, Austin, I set out upon graduation to combine my newfound and enduring passions: emerging markets and international finance & business.

After travelling and living throughout the world, working for almost 15 years on Wall Street, and obtaining a Master's degree from Columbia University, I find myself having come full circle, living and working in Texas once again.

From trading and managing emerging market assets in New York, I decided to take a chance. I now offer my expertise in corporate finance and capital markets to the executive search industry. Moreover, I am helping my beautiful and forever supportive wife in opening up a translation firm, focusing on specialized sectors in which her team has direct professional working experience along with providing very high-quality translations for fortune 500 firms.

As I said, I believe that I am the luckiest man in the world.
