I can think of many metaphors that relate to my writing style but the one I chose was a turtle with a beautifully detailed shell. A turtle is slow, which is the way I prefer to pace my writing. The reason for this is because I like to put a lot of effort and thought into it. I think the saying "slow and steady wins the race" adequately resembles my preferences. I tend to always try and perfect my writing and go gradually which correlates back to the reptile's speed. Also, the turtle's intricately designed shell can correspond to my detailed and well thought out pieces. I always try to use a plethora of unique words in my writing to make it special and stand out, just like the shell. I also make it a goal to not be very redundant in my choice of words as well as all aspects of my projects. To conclude, as a writer I am a turtle because of my reduced pace but make up for it with my extremely eloquent work, like its elaborate shell.
