Having a digital presence is important for an educator because it helps to assist and educate my students for life-long learning. A digital presence will provide ways to show my passions and teach others wherever they may be or where ever they are. It also makes me more "real" to my students and shows them a side of me they may not know. Finally, having a digital presence is important because allows me to teach my students new things in a totally different way in which they are accostmed to.
