Ben Cheng

Ben Cheng is a multidisciplinary designer. He holds B.F.A. in Visual Arts from York University, Toronto. After years of working as an interface/graphic designer in the communication design and information technology industries, his unpredicted route from fine arts to communication design has led him to industrial design as the ultimate expression of the creative contribution. To further develop his abilities, he moved to New York where he completed his Master of Industrial Design (with Distinction) from Pratt Institute. Ben’s works have been featured at international exhibitions in Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei and the US. Recently, his design "Radian Chair" has won the Merit Award for 2014 Furniture Design Award in Singapore. Ben is currently working as a product development manager in both Taiwan and China.
