Bryan Chin-Yu Chou, born and raised in Taiwan, just finished his bachelor’s degree in Advertising from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University.

During his time there, he actively participated in student projects, Greek life, and The NewHouse, the biggest student-run advertising agency in the United States. Between September 2013 and January 2014, he served as Account Manager for the Qatar 2022 Women’s Soccer Challenge, sponsored by EdVenture Partners, where he led a team of 5 to win first place out of 33 teams in a new business pitch to the Qatari officials in Doha, Qatar.

Additionally, he led another team of 5 between January and May 2014 in another new business pitch for HBO, sponsored by 360i Advertising Agency, and won first place out of 9 teams. His experiences also include Communications Director for JERK Magazine, which was named the “Best Student Magazine in the Northeast” by the Society of Professional Journalists, Social Media Specialist for Syracuse Model Neighborhood Facility, and Prezi.com.

Speaking English, French, Mandarin, and Japanese, Bryan is passionate about how media messages are portrayed and received in different languages and cultures around the world. Having worked as an Integrated Account Executive at TBWA\RAAD and as a Draftee in Taipei, Taiwan, he hopes to further challenge his knowledge and skills in the ad industry.
