Student of many subjects involving the human being. My path started in fitness when I became a personal trainer (still am), although I've always been more interested in how exercise can improve quality of life and vitality, rather than simply as a method to getting a 6-pack. Not that there's anything wrong with exercise for the sake of vanity. I think we'd all like to like to look our best. After getting comfortable as a trainer, I wanted to learn more about manual therapy in order to expand my abilities to help clients in a different way. I received my first training in Fascial Stretch Therapy by it's creators Chris and Ann Frederick in 2010. My second training with Chris and Ann came in 2012 to recieve my advanced level FST certification. I then moved into nutrition after becoming certified with Precision Nutrition, and now better understand it's essential role in client success; both in health and body composition. Precision Nutrition unexpectedly lead me to my most recent educational obsession; habit change and behavior psychology. I've since immersed myself in it's related literature. The introduction into habit formation and change psychology has been an epiphany, and given me perspective on why we have so much trouble making changes. Even when they're in our own best interest.
