An accomplished educator, Britton Devier holds a BS in technology education from Bowling Green State University and an MS in technology education from Illinois State University. While teaching technology education to high school students in Ohio, he returned to Bowling Green State, from which he graduated with an EdS in 2011. Currently, Britton Devier is pursuing an EdD from Liberty University and expects to receive his doctorate in 2017.

Building on his experience as a teacher, Britton Devier now serves as the director of credit recovery and advancement at Smiths Station High School, the 13th largest school in the state of Alabama. His administrative duties with Smiths Station include supervising all credit recovery and advancement classes and directing credit recovery/advancement programs held after school and in the summer. He also coaches several athletic teams within the local public school system.

Engaged in his field, Mr. Devier belongs to such professional organizations as the Alabama Education Association. He also affiliates with coaching organizations on both the state and national level.
