I am an Architect and Master in Urban Development in Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. I am currently a PhD candidate in Planning Studies at the The Bartlett School of Planning, University College London, UK. My research is focused on the development of a conceptual framework to help understand the relationship between sustainable mobility and urban transformation, considering the results of public policies and sustainable transport modes on the physical, social and economic dimensions.

I am professionally specializing in areas of sustainable urban development, infrastructure, transportation and planning.
Since 2011, I worked as Project Manager in URBANICA Consultores, leading projects related to urban insertion of telecommunication infrastructure, electric transmission, participative urban design and sustainable development.
Since 2010 I have been lecturer at the School of Architecture at Universidad del Desarrollo, in subjects, researches, courses and projects linked to urban matters.

Besides my professional work, in the academic area, I was General Editor of the publication PLANEO magazine created by the academic community of the Instituto de Estudios Urbanos y Territoriales (IEUT) from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Since 2008 I have been editor and columnist in Plataforma Urbana the web portal with the higher influence in matters of the city in Spanish.
