A former collegiate athlete, Beau Adam Blackwell starred as a linebacker for the Coffeyville Community College Red Ravens, leading the team to a top defensive ranking and a No. 3 overall national ranking in 2004. After two successful years with the Red Ravens, Kansas State University recruited Beau Adam Blackwell to play on its Division I NCAA football team and offered him an athletic scholarship. After transferring, however, he was injured during spring drills and retired from competitive football.

After his playing career ended, Mr. Blackwell focused entirely on his scholarly pursuits, ultimately graduating from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and going on to attend law school at Stetson University. While at Stetson Law, he stood out as an honor roll student and member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honor society. He also received departmental prizes such as the Legal Research and Writing Grammar Excellence Award.

After gaining significant experience in property insurance law, personal injury law, and litigation as a law clerk and intern, Mr. Blackwell graduated with his JD and passed the bar exam in 2017. Since then, he has focused his practice on property insurance and homeowners’ insurance law as an associate attorney with Weil, Snyder, Schweikert & Ravindran P.A., in Miami, Florida.
