As Vice President of Production & Operations at JESS3, Becca’s focus is to institute a culture of execution internally and externally with its team and clients to ensure seamless and successful experiences.
Becca oversees all company production, from beginning to end, putting into play her ability to effectively manage and motivate team members to develop and execute efficient and successful plans of actions and workflows.
A member of the JESS3 team since 2007, Becca first helped guide the company through the process of becoming an LLC. Through her tenure, she has transformed from administrative ninja and project manager-in-training to executive producer, account manager and now Vice President.
Before joining JESS3 full-time, Becca served as Director of Media Relations for an international non-profit, the Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women, where she wrote speeches for executives and dignitaries, including Mrs. Laura Bush, as well as spearheaded two mini-documentaries, overseeing the promotional videos. Becca also operated as a central news hub for the agency, including interviewing women from Afghanistan and Rwanda and publishing stories through opinion editorials, articles, newsletters and blog posts. She also successfully secured notable earned positive media coverage, gaining the attention of Lifetime TV, Voice of America and Fox Business Network.
As an undergraduate, Becca produced a series of ground reports from Kenya, focusing on the country's riddled education system and its continued impacts on poverty. After graduating cum laude, Becca completed a political journalism program at Georgetown University after which she had successfully launched her career in the broadcast news industry in Washington, D.C., working her way from intern to producer for the national news program, “The McLaughlin Group.”
