I have a strong passion for sports, and have been directly involved in the sport through media, family members, recreation and friends.
Throughout college, I have maintained fitness and kept sports a part of my life since I was able to play. Working with a professional MLS team, I have gained knowledge and professionalism within the sports industry as well as business aspects of sports. I am familiar with setups and game day events and operations and how such things work. Some related coursework I have taken that can help my experience include but are not limited to: technique and theory of soccer: which involves coaching aspects of all sports, volleyball coaching, fitness for life, structural kinesiology, business concepts, managerial business concepts and applications, etc. I have had coaching experience in 2009-2010 with Bartlett Raiders cheerleading squad. I have also coached for Charleston Soccer ages 4-7 in the 2013 fall season. I have played soccer in all different atmospheres and competitions ranging from Bartlett travel league to co recreational, club leagues, etc.
Along with the completion of my undergraduate coursework, I am also trained in CPR, AED for adults, children and infants. I have taken 4 years of Spanish and can speak it pretty well. I have been an active volunteer for Special Olympics for the last 3 years as well as a volunteer at Camp New Hope. I was a member of Alpha Sigma Tau from 2010-2012 and with this was involved in Relay for Life and fundraising. I’m currently a member of kinesiology and sports studies club. I have taken many business classes and am trained in Microsoft office, excel, word, access, and PowerPoint.
