I'm a creative marketing director, and I work strategically with growing businesses to find clever ways to articulate their positioning and change how people buy from them. I have spent the better part of two decades working with amazing brands and business owners, large and small. For years I worked in big marketing agencies - and I still feel part of the TBWA\GGT family. Fast forward 10 years, and as well as running my own creative marketing agency BH&P, I help run a sportswear sourcing business, and act as a Growth Accelerator coach and Design Mentor to smaller, and burgeoning organisations.
Originally from Bristol and then London, I left the big agency world in 2004, when my eldest son Ben was born, and spent a few years working with the local preschool, setting up a small and highly successful cake design business, "The Birthday Cake Lady", before doing a three year stint "being a client" at Profitability Business Simulations, and acquiring a passion for learning along the way.
Currently: building businesses, exploring new ways to use clever digital marketing to amplify content, and striving to cut through the marketing "noise" with genuine, bold creative solutions that change behaviour.
Love: all the amazing creative people I know and work with every day.
Always: Looking to have new and interesting conversations with business owners and like-minded people, and on the hunt for new clients and challenges.
