Hi, I'm Becky. I live in Whatton-in-the-Vale, a tiny village between Nottingham and Grantham, and I spend most of my week working out why nobody can find things online.

Some of that's normal SEO. Google, Maps, the technical bits under the bonnet, all the stuff that makes a business turn up when someone's actually looking for one. But more and more it's the AI side now. People ask ChatGPT or Perplexity who to use and just go with whatever it says, so a lot of my week is AEO and GEO work, getting businesses named in those answers. I check it monthly and screenshot it, because the answers change constantly and it drives me slightly mad.

The rest of the time I'm building things. Websites, landing pages, that sort of thing. I do the design and the words, which saves a load of faff later on.

And I help creators get their Lovable and Base44 apps out into the world. You've usually got something working by then, then you hit the dull bit: hosting, domains, why Google won't index it, why nobody's turned up. That's my favourite part, weirdly.
