Becky Hirst

Often described as a 'breath of fresh air', Becky is an enthusiastic, hardworking and dynamic professional with a strong background in stakeholder engagement, community development and public sector project management in both Australia and the UK. Becky has vast experience in working with local and state Government, non-Government organsiations, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, low socio-economic status groups and the Aboriginal community.

Becky specializes in the use of innovative tools and processes for engagement and enjoys applying her practical community based experience to inform processes that involve the community in decision-making. She is passionate about those processes being straightforward, transparent and accessible and is known for her inspiring approach to genuinely connecting with communities.

Becky's areas of expertise include group facilitation; use of online tools for community engagement; strategic planning for community & stakeholder engagement; and reaching the 'hard to reach'.

Becky was named SAYES Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2010.
