BEER TEIPE MUSIC

Amsterdam

Beer knew at a young age that she wanted to sing, dance and write music. Her parents were both professional opera singers, so her love and passion for singing started at an early age. Partly through the encouragement of her parents and teachers Beer studied at the Hilversum Conservatory classical music. Later she attended classes at the Cabaret Academy in Amsterdam. Beer took great classical music, but she wanted to be tasty singer and dance and entertain, and so she found in soul, pop and jazz her own style.

In her time at the conservatory Beer worked with Laurens van Rooyen. Later she won a musical competition, and she could sing with the Metropole Orchestra. Beer worked for Walt Disney to take a CD and video clips. She also recorded a CD with the Paradise Regained Orchestra and the Willem Breuker Collective. Over several years Beer sang in the famous Amsterdam restaurant "Pasta e Basta".

After gaining experience in many different ensembles, Beer started in 2004 her own band called "Beer". The band plays both in bars, at festivals, and at corporate events. Beer made in March 2005 the demo CD "Black Coffee", which was received with great enthusiasm. In 2011 she made her first singer/songwriter album "Love Life".
