Behdad Farahbakhsh is a renowned guitarist, composer, and educator, having studied at Tehran University before immigrating to the United States in 2000. He has established himself as both a performer and sought-after instructor, offering master classes and workshops internationally. Actively involved with the Classical Guitar Society of Philadelphia, Behdad has conducted educational workshops in Tehran and the U.S., focusing on diverse topics including 20th-century guitar studies, contemporary music, and Baroque compositions. His expertise also extends to providing master classes at the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society Festivals, emphasizing the nuances of rhythm in chamber music performances.
