bonnie ellen king

My name is Bonnie Ellen King. I have a Bachelor degree in Visual Art majoring in photography and a Bachelor degree in Arts majoring in History both from Monash University. My formal training came through years of experience with many photographers from around the Melbourne area and my time studying under leading Australian photographers at Monash University school of Art, Design and Architecture.

I have exhibited at the brunswick arts space via invitation in 2013 for the Annual Contemporary Art Prize, Methodist Ladies' Collage Acquisitive Exhibition in 2013, RAW Natural Born Artists encompass exhibition in 2013 and at Thousand Pound Bend in 2014 as part of the Forever Friends Animal Rescue Inc. Art Fundraising Exhibition.

I was the 2012 Monash University Photomedia Photography Award winner for my work in the Graduate Exhibition of the class of 2012.

I have curated and volunteered at shows at fortyfivedownstairs in the Melbourne CBD and Off the Kerb gallery in Collingwood.

In 2013 I became part of RAW Natural Born Artists, a group which promotes developing artists across many fields around the world. After exhibiting in Melbourne in November 2013 I was selected as a top three finalist in my field for RAWards 2013.
