Belén Merchán

Hello everyone! My name is María Belén, but you can call me Belén. I'm 25 years old, and I was born in Ecuador. Currently I'm living in Valladolid with one of my sisters but most of my family is still living in Ecuador. I have six siblings, and as some of them are older than me, I've already got a lot of nieces and nephews, they are seven now, and one is in way. As you can see I have a big family which I love the most.

I could describe myself as a traveller because I love to discover and learn about other cuItures, and in particular the cusine and people of different countries. These were the reasons why I did my Erasmus during the last semester, I chose the Università di Roma Tre beacuse it was the closest Uni to Naples, where my boyfriend lives. My Erasmus experience was awesome, I took the advantage of visiting other places from Italy and improve my italian.

My hobby is dancing. In fact, I'm working as a zumba instructor and as a funky dance teacher at the moment. I spent most of my time at work with kids which makes me very happy.

I’m studing Primary School Teacher degree because I believe that "children are the future of the world" so we as teachers are part of their future. I’m very interested in the iCLIL project because I really want to learn about CLIL and how to become a CLIL teacher. I'm very excited to share this experience with new people.
