I truly believe every person on the planet deserves to travel around the world. I find myself extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to explore distance lands and embrace new cultures that you can't get by watching tv. As these experiences have shaped who I am today and without them I wouldn't have been able to witness the worlds beauty. I have always dreamed that one day I'll able to travel everywhere on my accord whether that's in a career or aviation or where else my time at UGA might lead me. Although this dream wouldn't even be feasible without my parents international background which then bled into mine. As a son of a German father and a Vietnamese mother who came to the United States in search of a new life. I plan to convert my parents hard work into a life full of exploration and adventures. Through this dream my love for aviation was born. From my first flight to Germany when I was a month old to my recent trip to Japan this summer, I have loved airplanes more and more each day. As we know a career in aviation can be very unpredictable so I decided to come to UGA to obtain a degree in Mechanical engineering that no one can take away from me. Then I can pursue my pilot dream and if that fails I will have my degree to fall back on to hopefully still land myself a career in another aeronautical field.
