Born and raised on the banks of the Singing River in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Ben's cousin Buddy backed Hank on upright at the Opry and played 'til his fingers bled, recording one of George Jones' greatest singles. In his long career, he wrote and produced hundreds of hits, worked closely with Paul McCartney and was a self-made Nashville kingpin. Ben's Mother shares a birthday with Ella Fitzgerald and Albert King, but it's his soulful voice that speaks volumes.
