My wife Sarah and I live in Hollywood Florida, near the beach. Currently with have four rescue cats, Joey, Rocky, Sissy (although Sarah would prefer her name to be spelled Cissy), and Little Kitty (LK).

We enjoy biking to and on the beach and almost everywhere else. We also enjoy sailing Hobies in the Florida Keys.

I grew up in Richfield Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis. My wife was born and raised in south Florida, kind of a rarity as most people who live here, are from somewhere else.

Regarding the world of Joey and Rocky:

In my stories, I try to show and represent the cats and dogs and all of the other creatures that live in my fictional world as true and natural creatures. I don't believe there's such a thing as an "evil" animal, they're what nature has made them, and I hope this comes out in the writing.
