Board certified in internal medicine and nephrology with the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Benahili Iboaya holds a bachelor of arts degree in biology and African American studies from Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Benahili Iboaya completed his graduate studies at Oklahoma State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a residency in internal medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Shifting his focus to nephrology, Dr. Iboaya subsequently participated in a comprehensive clinical and interventional nephrology fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. From 2008 to 2020, he treated patients at the Findlay Kidney and Hypertension Center in Findlay, Ohio, where he focused on at-home dialysis and chronic kidney disease management, overseeing pathways and programs to optimize patient care. Since 2020, Dr. Iboaya has worked as a nephrologist with Blanchard Nephrology LLC, where he manages renal patients in several acute care hospital settings.
