Teacher, Course Designer, and Game Designer in Melbourne, Australia
As a completely self-taught developer I have a somewhat unorthodox way of approaching problems which has gotten me involved in many interesting projects. As one of the core members of Invent the World, I design and run Holiday programs for ‘nerdy’ children in Australia. This sees me traveling back and forth across the globe with great regularity.
Innovation in Education is my passion and I work to bring games into the world curriculum.
I help organize the Frankfurt Independent Developer scene, bringing together unique and talented people.
My interest in transdisciplinary studies led to an involvement with the 20,000 Blocks project based in Darmstadt Technical University, which is using videogames to harness the crowd in Architectural Design.
Currently I am working as a Game Designer on Factorio, a factory simulation game, from Czech development team Wube Software.
