As an Ernst & Young people advisory services consultant, Ben Chevlin works to bring new operational efficiencies to client workforces. In one high-profile engagement, Ben Chevlin led a Puerto Rico civil service reform pilot project that involved identifying change opportunities in government agencies such as the Departments of Health and Education. Areas of implemented recommendations included workload, pay, performance benchmarks, and recruiting.
Mr. Chevlin has also worked with Israeli companies in the emerging technologies area. While attending Columbia University, he served as a senior member of the TAMID Group, in which role he coordinated with Israeli partners such as Vibo and Hoopo and enabled pathways to US market penetration. Efforts encompassed lead generation, competitive analysis, and the creation of strategic plans.
Mr. Chevlin is also active as an Israel advocate who has undertaken lobbying with state senators and his local congressman in support of Israeli interests. He served as an advocacy member of the campus club Aryeh while in college and participated in the America Israel Public Affairs Committee as a lobbyist. Community focused, Ben Chevlin serves on the Workers of Truth Cemetery governing board and manages the organization’s website, in addition to participating in cleanup activities.
