My name is Ben, or Benedict to my mother. I went to school in Taunton, Somerset from the age of 8 and then graduated with a 2.1 in History of Art at the University of Leeds. In August 2012, I attended Leiths cookery school of food and wine for a month-long course and am now fully immersed in food and hospitality life. I am currently working at a gastro-pub in Wiltshire and my objective right now is to gain enough experience in this industry so that one day I will create and run a successful restaurant in London.
As cliché as it sounds, I do have a passion in food and the restaurant business but I enjoy other things such as watching and playing sports like football, rugby, golf and cricket. I also enjoy listening to great music and watching 'classic' films (don't we all?)
