Hi, I am Sib! I'm a student-photographer from the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music.

Photography has always been a passion of mine as it runs in the blood. I've learned how to wield the camera through my friends and just by merely exploring. Furthermore, my skill in photography extends to even the post-process in which I use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to edit the pictures.

I've done shoots for various musical events for my organization and friends. The events I've covered ranges in pop artists such as in busking gigs as well as performances in mall shows and bars. Also, I've even musical theatre recitals in school venues like the UST Education Auditorium. Unlike other art forms such as visual art, music is very fleeting. This is why most events that I cover are musical events because to capture the dynamism of movements makes each photo special.

However, I am not limited to just the musical events as I have also covered seminars of the UST Research Center for Culture, Arts, and Humanities. The most recent one is "Healings, Wonders, and Punishments: Exploring the Supernatural in Pedro Chirino's Works" last Feb 14, 2023. I took shots of Dr. Luis Castellvi from the University of Manchester.

Aaron Siskind has this quote which serves as my inspiration in what I do. It goes: Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”

Everything photo I get is a product of my love for the craft and my dedication in capturing the moment for evermore.
