I've been told I look like people ranging from Simon Neil (of Biffy Clyro fame) pre hair cut, to Charles Manson, not sure if that has to do with my long hair and beard or the big swastika tattooed on my forehead, anyways, I'm a shiftless lay-about with no sign of a bright future, heading into my mid-twenties slowly realising that things simply will not "just happen" for me.
I'm a big film fan, my favourite movies are, in no particular order, "High Fidelity, Dazed and Confused, Wayne's World 2, Stargate (almost any Kurt Russell movie), and Rocky 4...yes, I am that easily amused.
Since school I've fallen in love with reading again, ya know, because I'm not being forced by a facsist school system, though I'm probably just bitter and making excuses. The real answer is I'm just a lazy guy, but like I said I now love reading and my favourite books are in no particular order: "Valis" by Philip K. Dick, "The Great Gatsby" by F.Scott Fitzgerald, "The Dwarves" by Markus Heitz, "Heart of Darkness" by Joseph Conrad, and "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" by Friedrich Nietzsche.
Music is the biggest part of my life second only to my family and friends, all of which I have chosen very carefully.
As Allen Ginsburg once said, "The blues is like a hard-on, i just can't leave it alone" so begins our foray into my music tastes, I sing in a Rock covers band called the "Retro-frets" Singing everything from Bachman Turner Overdrive, to Judas Priest, to The Smashing Pumpkins, to Lacuna Coil.My first love is and shall always be Heavy Metal, but I also enjoy the blues, country, hard rock, classic rock, jazz, grunge, punk, pop, dance, industrial, alternative, rap etc. etc. and so on and so forth, there a far too many genres to cover.
I have begun a blog to chronical my journey into my mid-twenties and beyond, just musings on my current situation and where I would like to go in my life in the future, there is a link to my blog at the bottem of the page, check it out if you please and if you like it mention it to your friends or family or whoever , i would be very grateful.
I am going to finish this up now because I feel like I'm applying to a dating website.
P.S. I don't have a swastika tattoo.
