Hi, I’m Beni. I’m a student attending the University of Georgia. I’m a huge fan of board games and card games but I’ve had the most fun playing Magic the Gathering!

I’ve played Magic for the past 4 years and the game has changed so much since I first started.

I first started playing Magic in my hometown of Tifton, GA. The newest set was called “Battle for Zendikar”. At the time it was just me and a couple friends playing “table-top” non competitive decks.

I started playing more competitive Magic after I played in my first Friday Night Magic event (FNM) at a local game store. Ever since then I’ve gone to many card shops and play in FNM almost every week!

When I started taking classes at UGA I met the competitive Magic community. Through competitive Magic I’ve made so many friends!

There’s such an amazing community for competitive players! Recently I’ve traveled with my friends to so many events and tournaments.

The largest events I’ve attended so far involved traveling to Charlotte, SC and Denver, CO for regional championships! I haven’t won any of the larger tournaments yet but with a new Modern Horizons set releasing there’s more for deck brewing and chances to do well with new decks!
