All tourists who wish to travel to Gibraltar's small coastal town have access to a new service. You don't have to depart from mainland Spain through the international airport when you enter the Malaga International Airport. Instead, all you have to do is go through a special port of call on the coast and book a car to take you to your next destination. This port of call is located at the Costa del Sol, and is a key departure point for travellers from continental Europe.

Every traveller must have a valid passport to leave Spain. The "arm's-length" application period, which can last up three months, requires that you provide details about any destination you are planning to visit. After the application period is over, you will need to return to your home country. The documents must then be presented for further processing.
