Benji Hawkins

Hi everyone!

I'm a junior from Overland Park, KS studying Mathematics. I'm your person if you want to talk about biology, chemistry, physics, Pre-Med, math - basically anything in the sciences - because I absolutely love them all!

I'm so excited to start my second year working in the Undergraduate Advising Center as a Peer Advisor. My first year was a blast, so I can't wait to see what the new year will bring! Elsewhere on campus, I am involved with the University Honors Program and KU Christian Challenge.

My favorite hobby, by far, is learning, whether for an interesting class, or just for fun. I definitely have to admit to more than a few 3-hour sessions clicking through Wikipedia's blue links. On any given day, there's also a good chance that I stayed up much later than I should have the night before practicing the piano that I just started learning. By the way, if you have any piano tips, definitely let me know - I need them!!
