Ben Stewart is the Senior Advisor for Strategic Engagement at Arizona Public Service (APS), where he specializes in government and community relations for APS’s long-term strategic infrastructure projects.
Prior to joining APS, Ben served as State Director for U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema, engaging with elected officials, community leaders, and various stakeholders across Arizona to advance the Senator’s agenda and address critical public policy issues.
Before working for the Senator, Ben held other state and federal positions including serving as Director of Government and Community Affairs for the Arizona Office of Tourism.
Ben enjoys traveling and has represented Arizona and the United States on foreign relations and trade missions to Europe, Mexico, and Canada. He and his wife, Anna, enjoy spending time on the East Coast visiting family and soaking up the sun on the beautiful beaches of South Florida. Their favorite getaway is their family cabin, affectionately known as “Stewart’s Hideaway,” located in Munds Park, Arizona.
Ben actively contributes to his community, serving on the board of directors for the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations. He was appointed by the mayor to his neighborhood’s planning commission and by the governor to the state’s Tourism Advisory Council. A proud fifth-generation Arizonan, Ben lives in Phoenix with his wife Anna, their two children Asher and Evelynn, and two dogs Jagger and Pepper.
