As a business development advisor at Down Official, Benjamin Leitman draws on close to a decade of financial and sales experience. A Syracuse University alumnus, Benjamin Leitman attended the Whitman School of Management and graduated with a bachelor of science in finance, entrepreneurship, and emerging enterprises.
After graduating in 2011, he became a financial consultant at AXA Advisors. In the position, Mr. Leitman focused on each clients’ immediate needs while also implementing long-term strategies. He subsequently joined Merrill Lynch as vice president of global wealth investment management.
Serving in the role for six years, Benjamin Leitman specialized in concentrated stock positions, alongside providing clients with liquidity. He was also responsible for developing client-facing deliverables, such as pitch books and performance reports.
In 2019, he joined Down Official, where he leads capital fundraising initiatives. Using a range of tools, Mr. Leitman manages prospecting initiatives and documentation. A sports fan, he enjoys basketball, golf, and football, as well as cooking and traveling.
