Having just received my Masters of Photography through the Australian Institute of Professional Photography, I find myself 7 years into the professional photography realm... and I don't see myself stopping.
I am a full-time, self-employed, freelance commercial and portrait photographer and when I'm not, I'm likely working on one of my many personal photographic projects. My projects by name are as follows: "102,400", "First dates & last nights", "One pic a day for 2014", "Selfie-a-day" and the offshoot of the last one is "Photobombed selfies".
I have most recently been named a semi-finalist in the Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize for my Photobombed Selfies project as well as for a portrait of my brother going through chemo. Prior to that I received a Gold award at the 2014 Canon APPA's which brought me to my Masters, and I also won a Silver Distinction and a Silver award in the same competition. Prior to that I was a finalist in the Royal Photographic Society International Print Exhibition in London with two pictures. I was also finalist in the Creative and Illustrative categories at the last Epson South Australian Professional Photography Awards in 2013. In 2012 I was a finalist in the National Photographic Portrait Prize in Canberra with my portrait of Ned.
