Bennat Berger brings an intimate understanding of New York’s multifamily environment to his role as CEO of Novel Property Ventures, along with a strong track record in acquisitions and development. The recipient of a BA in English from Dartmouth College, Bennat Berger soon joined Quantum Partners, where he oversaw the development of a major condominium tower in Gramercy Park. A much sought-after living space and investment opportunity, the 20-story, 98-unit Tempo building would later achieve average impressive sales numbers as it reached full occupancy. Bennat went on to focus on multifamily acquisitions with Kushner Companies and continued to source deals in the greater New York area.

Following Kushner, Bennat cofounded Novel Property Ventures and subsequently positioned his company as a key player in Manhattan’s and Brooklyn’s multifamily marketplace. With the purchase of Barclays Center neighbor Atlantic Gardens in 2011 and its impressive sale 2 years later, Bennat earned considerable recognition for his work at Novel.

Bennat Berger and Novel have also acquired and developed various multifamily and mixed-use buildings in the East Village, Harlem, Williamsburg, Park Slope, Cobble Hill and other trend-setting New York neighborhoods. Today, the company adds value to its extensive portfolio through structural and aesthetic upgrades, as well as top-to-bottom improvements to meet the needs of an evolving population.
