He's the co-founder of Trendsboard, an editorial marketing tool for media companies. Launched in july 2012, Trendsboard employs powerful algorithms that analyze the entire information ecosystem in real-time. Trendsboard predicts the stories that will be popular in the coming hours by detecting the conversations that are beginning to buzz right now on social networks and search engines. In january 2013, Trendsboard raised $500,000 from business angels.
In may 2011, Benoit Raphael created "le Plus" (leplus.nouvelobs.com) a participative platform for the french news magazine "le nouvel Observateur". 2 months later, "Le Plus" reached 922.000 unique visitors (Nielsen), 2M in november 2012.
In december, he created a new social media for the french national radio "Europe1" : Le Lab (lelab.europe1.fr), based on the curation platform created by his start-up "Fuzu" (200K UV Nielsen the first month - 23% of trafic coming from Facebook, 13% from Twitter)
He's also the co-founder of Lepost.fr, a web-based news site launched in 2007 by the french press group Le Monde.
As a participative media, Lepost.fr experimented with the future of online news and reached 3,2 millions unique visitors in september 2009 (Nielsen).
