Benjamin Quintana

Benjamin James Quintana (born October 27th 1989) better known by his stage name Ben Q , is an American recording artist, record producer & entrepreneur from Albuquerque , New Mexico. Ben Q began recording at age 9 but gained popularity in 2007 with his debut independent release “Black & White”. The single “Come Home” which featured fellow New Mexico R&B; recording artist David Wade debuted on radio Univision radio stations in May of 2007. The single would propel Ben Q’s musical career including placements in independent films , a regional tour and the opportunity to attend Full Sail University where he is currently finishing his Bachelors in Entertainment Business. The Classic Life (2009) Ben Q’s second release was recorded in Orlando during the first few months he attended Full Sail. The album wouldn’t be released till the following year. Ben has been quoted saying “it was only right for those who had waited on the 2nd chapter to my story. I’m a story within a story” Ben Q decided to release the album completely free through a new online platform He now uses this platform as his main outlet to release visual content along with new material and releases. Singles like “Brand New” & “BenQ” have helped Ben branch out and appeal to new audiences though Florida and the east coast. During this time Ben Q met roommates Ruben Olivares & Kyle Beabue who were developing a clothing brand “Realeyez Apparel”. Ben Q is now an official representative for the apparel company helping them develop brand recognition throughout the Southwest & West Coast regions. Since the release of The Classic Life Ben Q has released CREATE & ReCREATE also through After CREATE’s release Ben was nominated & received The New Mexico Music Award for Producer Of The Year. Ben is currently the CEO of Q Music a Multi Faceted Entertainment Company producing all genres for major & independent artists across the country. He is also currently working new music and touring with new artists under the Q Music imprint. (read less)
