Ben Sanders

Dr. Benjamin D. Sanders has a proven track record in cost reduction as a result of his innovation and the ability to problem solve and team build. He currently oversees a $36.8million annual contract budget and is the Program Manager for US Army Contracting Command G6. He has a collection of accolades for his work including the coveted NASA JSC “I am an Innovator” award for 2010 for creating the PLTOSR (Project Lead Task Order Status Report), a computer system that gives near real-time financial status of a project to the management team. Dr. Sanders currently sits on the IT Steering Committee for Jacobs Technology Inc., the eighth largest engineering firm in the U.S. and was appointed by the White House’s, OMB to the Information Technology Governance Counsel for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, asked to sit on the Budget Line of Business Collaboration Workgroup, and is a member of the collaboration group for DARPA, and the Department of Defense. He received his Doctor of Business Administration from Almeda University (Boise, ID), has countless certifications and his team recently won CIO top 100 for 2011 and Best of AKO. Dr. Sanders also owns his own IT Consulting Firm, BDS Consulting, LLC in Huntsville, AL.
