Ben Saunders

A pioneer in one of the most demanding fields on earth, Ben Saunders is a record-breaking polar explorer. In 2014 he led the first team to complete Captain Scott's ill-fated Terra Nova expedition, and in the process broke the record for longest ever polar journey on foot.

Ben has covered more than 6,000km on foot in the polar regions. He is the youngest to ski solo to the North Pole and holds the record for the longest solo Arctic journey by a Briton.
