Ben Schwartz (Glenview)

A graduate of Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, Illinois, Benjamin “Ben” Schwartz was active in sports and ran cross country and track and field. During his time pursuing studies in Glenview, he also served as programming director of the radio station on campus. Ben L. Schwartz has continued his passion for broadcasting up to the present as a journalism major at Ohio University. He seeks employment or an internship in Chicago in the journalism field.

As a student DJ with the ACRN Radio Network, Benjamin L. Schwartz hosts a weekly program that features music and live commentary, as well as news, station IDs, and weather on an hourly basis. His involvement with the radio station extends to the promotion and development of concerts on campus.

Mr. Schwartz creates promo spots to air on the station and develops effective marketing campaigns. His involvement extends to facilitating contests and giveaways for events with student union members. Community involved, Mr. Schwartz had the opportunity to volunteer with Feed My Starving Children and packed rice for global distribution to malnourished youth in late 2015.
