Benson Tsai

Born in mid-Taiwan at my grandfather’s obstetrical hospital in 1982, I was brought up in a big family where my younger sister and I were surrounded by a lot of attention from families and relatives. Thanks to my father’s international trading business in his early years, I spent most of my childhood traveling the world and had a chance to study overseas in Manhattan and Sydney for one and two years individually, which gave me a broader view and encourage my interest in science. When I grew older we moved to Tainan city in which I received my education till high school. I am now living independently in my uncle’s place with my sister where my parents can from time to time come to visit back and forth between Taiwan and U.S.
