Hello All,

My name is Ben Sosa and I am originally from South Los Angeles, CA. Los Angeles has been my home for many years, it has given me an appreciation for the world, cultures and people groups that are represented in it. As a High Schooler I served as a church usher and sound board manager but in college I felt a calling from the Lord into Ministry.

I went to Biola University as a Christian Ministry major with a Bible minor and have volunteered in on campus ministry as a volunteer to our student led Chapel, "AfterDark". In AfterDark along with a small group of students we planned, organized and ran a weekly student-led chapel for over 500 students. Through that ministry I gained an appreciation for the fullness of the Body of Christ regardless of denomination or cultural background, I learned the effectiveness of working with a team to develop services.

In the summer of 2014 I was able to be a part of a missions trip to Nepal, where I was able to minister and be part of be part of a team of Biola students, through this trip we were able to minister to refugees and underprivileged kids with the first VBS training to that country, to this date many nationals have replicated from the format that we taught to the leaders and many children and families have been impacted my VBS ministry.

In the Summer of 2015, I started my involvement and now internship with Pasadena International House of Prayer, through the House of Prayer I have been led to grow in prayer and meditating on the Word. It has been the greatest blessing in the world to be a part of a ministry that loves worship, prayer and missions. It has led me to a strengthened faith and intimacy with Jesus. Through the House of Prayer, as prayer room staff and as an Administrative Intern I have netted prayer room hours, prayer leading through Worship with the Word, as well as scheduled a calendar for our Hydrate prayer ministry to m workers in the field.
